Laryngitis Pick-Me-Up

Having a hard time making it through the winter unscathed? I'm just starting to get over a week of laryngitis and having no voice. My go-to in the morning right now is hot water, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Throat Coat tea, honey, and an echinacea tincture. I was also getting relief from ginger syrup and onion syrup (which I would add to this mixture). Give it a try and watch it work its magic!

For onion syrup:

Dice one large onion. Pour the pieces into a sauce pan with 1 1/2 cups of water and let them simmer until it thickens to a syrup-like consistency.

For ginger syrup:

Boil thinly sliced fresh ginger in a covered pan of water for 10 minutes. Strain the liquid and allow it to cool to room temperature.
